T.R.A.S.H Observatory Community River Clean-up Fundraiser - in association with Friends of the Liesbeek. Nearly R20,000 worth of sponsored gifts! 

It's time for our annual TRASH Observatory Community River Clean-up fundraiser. Funds go towards the costs of the monthly clean-ups, staff, equipment to keep our stretch of the Liesbeek River beautiful and litter free. Many residents from Observatory, Mowbray and surrounds know how essential this space is to our community. This year we have nearly R20,000 worth of sponsored items, packaged into 5 magnificent "bouquets" and are designed to provide 5 lucky individuals with an unforgettable gift of thanks.

Tickets cost R25.00, which will give you a chance at walking away with our give-away gifts from our sponsors.

We have been running these clean-ups for 11 years - please support us to keep doing so!

Terms and Conditions

• Tickets are not refundable.
• Gifts bouquets may not be exchanged for cash.
• Should a gift include a voucher, it is the gift recipient's responsibility to take note of the expiry date of the vouchers and to use them before they expire.
• Gift bouquets will be delivered to the recipients in Cape Town and surrounds only. Collection can be arranged on a case by case basis.
• All gift bouquet recipients will be notified by email on the giveaway lucky draw date, Tuesday, 17 December 2024
• If the organisers have not had a response to a notification by Friday, 20 December 2023, the organisers then have the right to redraw.
• The judges and organisers decisions are final.
• Details of the gift bouquet recipients will only be published with their consent.
