The amazing Thuba Myeki fronts an amazing live band to pay tribute to the icons who influenced each other and inspired those around them - Prince, Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars : The Innovators

The band consists of Gino Fabbri on drums, Stephen Hurter on guitar, Curtis Kettledas on Sax, Abi Pitie on keys, Dylan Du Plessis on bass, Caleigh Heradien and Kalyn Du Plessis on vox, with Thuba on fronting vox.

IMPORTANT BOOKING DETAILS

The venue is set up with seating at tables. All bookings are unreserved and you can contact Wendy from Centrestage via the Centrestage WhatsApp number on 083 2255 401 to reserve your seats, should you have a preference.

Should you have any other specific requirements or wish to increase a table size, Wendy will try to assist if possible.

Centrestage @ Bay West is a 400 seater venue with chairs around tables.

Centrestage's prime focus has always been on creating a relaxed, fun, social environment for "people with short attention spans" and offering exciting entertainment featuring top local and national artists.

It's very important to us that you enjoy the “Centrestage Experience” with a group of your friends in a relaxed, 8-seater chairs around tables environment with a drink and optional food platters and meals on hand.

A 30m walk is all it takes to get to our venue from the empty parking area upstairs at Entrance 1 - and parking in the centre is free and completely SAFE!

One parking ticket per car will be provided when arriving at the venue, so you won’t have to queue at all.

EVENTS VENUE

Centrestage @ Baywest will double as a fantastic new events venue, as we have a fully equipped Lineout sound and lighting system already installed, with a variable sized stage.

Standard in the venue is 9m x 5m, but the stage can be extended to 16m x 6m if needed. Screens and projectors are also available in-house, and the venue is draped in black.

This means that the hair-pulling and tight deadlines of function set-ups and late night strikes are a thing of the past. Lineout’s friendly, experienced and professional staff will run the functions for you.

The cost to provide a client with a technical extravaganza could easily be half of the cost to recreate this from an external supplier.

Technical specifications and setups can be tailored to suit every budget.

The venue can seat up to 800+ people in schoolroom style.

Affordable in-house catering will be offered, but you will still have the option to bring your own caterers in.
