Cultured Butter & Cheese Making Workshop Experience


About:

Join us for a farm experience on Vergesig Farm, nestled in the Piket-Bo-Berg Mountains. Throughout this hands-on, immersive workshop you'll dive into the heart of farm life and explore everything from milking cows to crafting your own cheese and butter.


The day starts off bright and early as you join our milking team in the parlour, learning the art of milking. Then, we'll take the cows out to the pastures, where you'll enjoy a coffee with the fresh morning milk and a homemade treat.


We will then learn all about the magic of dairy-making, using the fresh milk from the morning as well as the history behind natural cheese and cultured butter production. You'll get to take home your very own handmade cultured butter.

At the end of the workshop , we'll gather for a light, delicious brunch, celebrating the local produce from the region, delicious cheeses and wine.
