ABOUT
German organist and professor of organ at the Lübeck University of Music, Arvid Gast has returned to South Africa to give a solo recital on the organ at St George's Cathedral in Cape Town. He is an outstanding musician who has an impressive history of performing and competing globally, and will be performing a repertoire including music by Bach and the German Romantic composers, Karg-Elert and Reubke. Don't miss this spectacular occasion!
This performance is part of the Johannesburg International Mozart Festival 2025 - a yearly celebration of one of the greatest composers in the Western Classical oeuvre which is dedicated to the upliftment and education of classical music in Johannesburg, and South Africa as a whole.
