Join me and my friends for 'The Great Endo Picnic' – a delightful day to celebrate endometriosis warriors, their resilience and to draw awareness to this horrible illness. Set against the backdrop of camaraderie and courage, this picnic is a celebration of hope, inspiration, and solidarity for endo warriors and allies alike.
Bring your picnic baskets and come savour delicious food, revel in joyful tunes, and bask in the sun-soaked ambiance, creating unforgettable moments of relaxation. There will be some good music, insightful talks, new friendships formed, some amazing stalls selling lovely goodies, and more. This gathering is a platform for sharing compelling stories and heartfelt experiences from diverse endo warriors, igniting inspiration and fostering a community of support.
While commemorating endometriosis and what it's all about, this picnic isn't exclusive – it's an open invitation to everyone. Whether you're an endo warrior, an ally, or simply wish to join in the fun-filled celebration, your presence will contribute to this uplifting event. Prepare for an afternoon infused with positivity, resilience, and a collective spirit as we end Endometriosis Awareness Month.
This is a family-friendly event. Children under the age of 18 years old, need to be accompanied by an adult.

What to Bring:
- Picnic Baskets: Feel free to bring your own snacks, eats and drinks to enjoy during the event.
- Picnic Blankets and/or Camp Chairs: Bring along your picnic blankets and camp chairs to create your cosy and comfortable space.
- Yoga mat: There will be short yoga session available for those interested in taking part.
- Funds for some goodies: With a variety of stalls to explore, you might want to bring along some moola for some goodies.
- NO GLASS ITEMS ALLOWED
- ONLY 0% ALCOHOL BEVERAGES ALLOWED
There will also be some food and drinks available for sale at the event.
Important Note:
Tickets will only be sold online and won't be sold on the day of the event at the venue. Please be reminded that The Great Endo Picnic is a glass-free and weapon-free event. We kindly ask all attendees to refrain from bringing glass bottles, crockery, any other glass items, sharp objects or weapons onto the premises. Let's create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants to enjoy.

Sbali Soul Sessions is a pair of creative individuals, That Boi and Mr Eskay, with a common appreciation for music and host a radio show that explores a variety of genres. The music authorities discuss trends, sounds and influences, with a music catalogue that's forever exploring what they describe as the “future music” genre.
"Our heart strings are tugged mostly by boom-bap but we easily find ourselves exploring electronic sub genres of hip-hop, RnB, nuDisco and house. Soul music is the foundation of our taste though, and there’s always elements of it in everything we listen to and play."

A blend of folk and contemporary sounds, Lilly Million’s music has been described as soulful, honest and ahead of its time. Many who have encountered Lilly’s music are intrigued by her off-the-wall presence, unique voice, originality and lyrical poetry.
An esteemed and controlled performer, Lilly has been described as having the ability to cause you to shed tears and burst out with laughter all at once. She has performed alongside the likes of Oliver Mtukudzi, Lira, The Muffinz, Nothende, Khaya Mthethwa, Arno Carstens, We Will Worship, Khaya Mthetwa and Doctor Victor to name a few. Her versatility as an artist allows Lilly to perform eclectic and musically inspired sets with her 4 piece band as well as intimate soulful offerings, solo on her acoustic guitar. She has honed her craft and skill as a performer and managed to grace the stages of 8 African countries and has also performed at events in Europe as well as the USA.
Lilly’s rich poetic lyrics expressively framed in simple melodies is bound to capture your attention.
Jamali is a powerhouse South African female musical group that has left an indelible mark on the country’s music scene. Their name is a fusion of the first two letters of each member’s name—Jacqui Carpede, Mariechan Luiters, and Liesl Penniken. The trio was formed on the reality TV show Coca-Cola Popstars in 2003, finishing as runners-up to the boy band Ghetto Lingo. From the moment they stepped into the spotlight, Jamali captivated South Africa with their magnetic stage presence, rich harmonies, and undeniable talent.
Blending pop, R&B, and soul, Jamali brought a fresh, dynamic sound that cemented their place as one of South Africa’s most iconic girl groups. But their success goes beyond catchy melodies—each song carries depth, emotion, and a powerful message of empowerment. Whether delivering heartfelt ballads or electrifying dance anthems, their passion and authenticity shine through in every performance.
Their impact on the industry earned them three South African Music Award (SAMA) nominations, with a well-deserved win in 2009 for Best South African Pop Album for their record 3rd Base. However, their influence extends far beyond accolades.
