rene Jovem is a versatile Angolan artist based in Cape Town, with a career spanning over 15 years. Throughout her journey, she has released one album titled Minha Filha and continues to release singles. Her music is multilingual, featuring songs in Portuguese, English, and Umbundu. In addition to her single releases, Irene is currently working on a new album titled Africa United Through Music. This album will feature artists from various African countries, aiming to connect African talent, cultures, and creativity in a unified project. It’s a celebration of the beauty and richness of African music, transcending language and geography. The message is clear: while we may be different, we are one—connected through music.

Since moving to Cape Town, Irene has performed exclusively at special events (birthdays, weddings, and other celebrations). After receiving numerous requests, she is now preparing for her first official concert in the city that welcomed her with open arms.
