ABOUT
Woodlands Mall together with Food Lover’s Market and Pentravel will host its 6th annual Wine Fair on 16 June from 15h00 - 20h00 and 17 June from 11h00 - 16h00. Each ticket holder will be provided with a tasting glass to taste from over 200 different wines. Apart from the wine, a selection of food stalls will also be available to complete your tasting experience. A portion of proceeds are donated to the Friends of Rietvlei fund which manages the rhino project in the Rietvlei Nature Reserve, located 8km from Woodlands Mall.In addition, try out our new "Sexy Scottish Singles" Whisky tasting which will also be held in the main promotions area over the Wine Fair. Each of the four presented tasting sessions will include:
1. "Tomatin Legacy". Aged in ex-bourbon, and virgin oak casks.
2. "Tullibardine Burgundy". Aged in ex-bourbon, and ex-burgundy (French red wine) casks.
3. "Tamdhu 10y/o". Aged in ex-sherry casks. These are proper Spanish sherry barrels.
4. "Smokehead". Aged in ex-bourbon, an example of a peated (smokey) whisky, paired with a home-made soft butter fudge.
Whisky Session Times:
Friday 16 June: 5pm – 6pm
Friday 16 June: 7pm – 8pm
Saturday 17 June: 12pm – 1pm
Saturday 17 June: 2pm – 3pm
Tickets are R150 per person and available via Quicket.co.za or at the door. Limited seats available per session.
Tickets are not for sale to persons under the age of 18 years.
