ABOUT

Bach's magnificent St John Passion will be performed by the Symphony Choir of Johannesburg and the Phoenix Orchestra conducted by Maestro Richard Cock. The role of the Evangelist will be sung by acclaimed Tenor Siyabonga Maqungo together with Chris Vale (bass - Jesus), Bongani Khubeka (bass - Pontius Pilate), Brittany Smith (soprano), Minette du Toit Pearce (mezzo-soprano), and Bongani Mthombeni (tenor).
