A spellbinding experience of music, poetry, and spoken word, as the ever-enigmatic Pilani Bubu graces the stage with a repertoire drawn from her critically acclaimed albums:
Folklore Chapter 1 – A nostalgic suite of African folk tales.
Folklore Chapter 2: Ekuseni – A deeply personal exploration of ancestral wisdom and African spirituality.
Nay’Indaba – A bold sonic odyssey reflecting on South Africa’s history and 30 years of freedom through the lens of powerful women.

Nay’Indaba, Pilani’s latest offering, is a ferocious and psychedelic meditation on South Africa’s past and present, weaving jazz, spoken word, and African rhythms into a powerful narrative. In collaboration with the French trans-oriental jazz-rock band Marthe, this album is a rich tapestry of sound and storytelling.
