Diego Castillo, Ph.D., is a biotech innovator and entrepreneur pioneering the next frontier in healthcare by harnessing the power of the microbiome. As Co-founder of Biomine Health, a Techstars 2024 company, he is dedicated to transforming cutting-edge microbiome research into real-world solutions that redefine global health.
With a Ph.D. in Genetics specializing in Metagenomics, Diego’s expertise lies in decoding complex microbial ecosystems to unlock novel therapeutic and diagnostic applications. Passionate about bridging the gap between biotech innovation and healthcare impact, he is currently building his first startup, driven by a vision to revolutionize patient care through microbiome-based advancements.
