ABOUT
The Kearsney Easter Rugby Festival, brought to you by Standard Bank, is back, with some of the country’s top rugby-playing schools once again providing a spectacle of running rugby at one of South Africa’s most prestigious and famous schoolboy rugby festivals. Online tickets are available at a cost of R45 per day. Children under six years of age get in for free.
On Thursday 17 April, Saturday 19 April and Monday 21 April, twelve highly-ranked rugby schools will entertain the large crowds with highly competitive and fast-paced rugby, while 12 primary schools battle it out on the adjacent field. In a first for an SA schools’ rugby festival, four Girls U16 teams will be participating, with a game on each day, adding to the action, fun and excitement of the festival.
Set on our spacious and beautiful campus, the festival provides a wonderful day out for the whole family, with incredible schoolboy rugby, delicious food outlets, a refreshment tent and an expansive KidZone.
Ample parking is available on the campus. Online ticket holders will enter Kearsney through Hopkins Gate, at the south side of campus, at the end of Botha Road. Please have your tickets for the day on hand for scanning at the gate. (No tickets can be purchased at the Hopkins Gate entrance).
