ABOUT
Sean Sanby is a highly accomplished bassist and composer based in Cape Town. Artist Sean's impact extends beyond his roles as a performer, as he also excels as an educator, collaborator, and one of Cape Town’s most sought-after session musicians. His debut album, “Out of the Candlelight” (2020), was released to high acclaim and showcases his unique compositional voice in the South African music scene.
In this performance, you will not be left disappointed! Featuring the incredible Vishnu Navtar(INDIA), who will be in residency in Cape Town, they will perform a mixture of some old & new compositions, local jazz styles & genres, and explore the intersections of South African & Indian music.
