ABOUT

Constitution Hill will host the 7th edition of the Human Rights Festival. The festival programme is line up with amazing panels discussion, seminars, workshops, exhibitions and a music concert line up. The festival will honor the legacy Life of Mam Winnie Madikizela - Mandela and commemorate her unwavering commitment to justice, human rights, and the empowerment of women. The programme will feature a public lecture delivered by MEC Lebogang Maile. On the same evening an exhibition that will honor Mama Winnie's memory with ten meticulously curated costumes, each speaking to a different era of her life journey will be launched, the exhibition is titled Qhakaza : PAIN UNDEFINED curated by Kgosi Gift.

The event starts at 16:00 on the 20th of March 2025 at the Women's Jail, Constitution Hill.
