“Finding one's flow-state in the face of chaos”
Fire Pilots is a cinematic short film that explores the lives of the South African helicopter pilots who confront wildfires from above. It’s a story of profound connection - between man, machine, and the untamed force of nature - capturing courage, skill and finding one's flow state in the face of chaos.
This special evening will feature:
- Screening of Fire Pilots
- A Q&A panel with real Fire Pilots, offering firsthand insights into their extraordinary work and experiences.
- Participation from the Volunteer Wildfire Services (VWS) community, providing an opportunity to support their critical initiatives.
- R100 cover charge where 100% goes to Volunteer Wildfire Services (VWS)
- Give-aways + a personalised tour of the Vietnam Huey by Mark Jackson, an original Fire Pilot!
