Rutter's Requiem with other Sacred Music

This Palm Sunday, 13 April 2025 at 3:00 pm at the St Joseph's Cathedral in Mariannhill, audiences will be treated to a diverse and moving selection of sacred choral music. The Durban Symphonic Choir in association with the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Chad Hendricks will perform Rutter's Requiem followed by excerpts from Bach's St John Passion, the Mozart Requiem and Handel's Messiah. The combination of the choir's passionate voices, the orchestra's rich sound and the talents of the featured soloists will create an atmosphere of spiritual depth and musical brilliance.
