Calligraphy Embroidery Basics

This is a 3-hour-long hands-on introduction to the basics of embroidery calligraphy. We will teach you the basics and give you a little taste of what it’s all about without leaving you feeling overwhelmed. This class is perfect if you've never tried embroidery before. This class will give you the skills and information you need to create beautiful, tactile art with words and thread.

Ideal for 13-year-olds and older.

What we'll cover:

1. Basic tools and techniques
2. How to transfer your design onto any fabric
3. Best practices and troubleshooting any issues
4. How to finish off your work

We'll provide everything you need to use during the workshop, but feel free to bring any extra supplies or projects you're currently working on

What's included:

1. Hands-on instruction, tips and tricks from Monique :)
2. A full embroidery kit for you to use during the workshop and to take home to keep creating.

When to arrive: 15 minutes before the starting time

What to bring: Yourself! All class materials are provided.

What to expect: Lots of gushing over beautiful embroidery floss and stitching techniques
