As Zimbabwe's Independence Day approaches, we honour the brave warriors of the First Chimurenga (1896-1897) - their resistance, sacrifices, and legacy in shaping African liberation. Join us for an engaging exclusive talk reclaiming their place in history and connecting their fight to today's struggles for decolonisation and Pan-African identity. Presented by keynote speaker, Valentino Chigwedere and guest speaker Dr William Mpofu, researcher at the WITS Centre for Diversity Studies.

Snacks will be served and a cash bar will be available.
