ABOUT

Following numerous successful concerts in South Africa and England, British Violinist Rupert Marshall-Luck and South African pianist Peter Cartwright team up to present a programme of music from the classical repertoire and the English and South African musical canons. Two major sonatas by Mozart and Brahms are contrasted with works by South African composer Peter Klatzow and English composer Alan Rawsthorne. Their recent concerts have been praised as “sincere and accomplished” in Seen and Heard International and “pretty special” in a recent local write-up.
