ABOUT
WILD FOOD WINTER WALK
Saturday 12 July
11am - 2pm
Join Roushanna Gray and the V&S team for an educational walk and talk in and around the cultivated wild herb gardens, farm and fynbos mountainside in search of wild flavour at the Veld and Sea HQ in Cape Point. After a wintery walk, warm up back at the Glasshouse with a hot cup of fynbos tea and wild greens soup.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Fynbos chai tea on arrival
Educational winter plant walk and talk, learning names and culinary applications
Light lunch of soup, bread and seasonal ferments
All participants will leave with any plants they have foraged.
Follow up PDF notes and recipes.
BONUS:
Relax in the Glasshouse and read through our mini wild library after the walk.
A selection of edible and medicinal indigenous plants will be available for sale for you to cultivate in your own garden.

A basket and scissors/secateurs
Notebook and pen
Water Bottle and extra snacks/drinks if required
Warm winter outdoor gear (the event goes ahead in the rain) waterproof comfortable walking shoes/boots
DURATION: 3 hours

PRICE:
R550 per person
Kids under 16 at R275 per person, kids under 2 join for free.
Children joining must be accompanied by a paying adult.

50% cancellation fee.
Tickets are non-transferable to other event dates and non-refundable within 72 hours of the event.
