CINDERELLA - THE PANTOMIME

Crawford International Sandton College Hall
ABOUT
Prince Charming is holding a ball to which everyone in the village is invited, including Cinderella and her stepsisters, Bonjela and Tixylix. Bonjela and Tixylix are totally self-centred and, along with their mother, Drizella, treat Cinderella like a servant. Cinderella’s father, Baron, does his best to help her but he is under the thumb of Drizella, his second wife. Fortunately, Cinders has a fairy godmother to keep an eye on her and Baron’s manservant, Buttons, who will do anything for her.
There’s lots of fun, plenty of music and dancing, and the audience is expected to support the “goodies” and boo the “baddies” in true pantomime tradition. The enduring fairy tale gets a clever and contemporary makeover in this glittering stage production that features all the classic elements you remember – the pumpkin, glass slipper, masked ball … plus some unexpected and surprising new twists!
