York Zucchi is a globally recognized entrepreneur and business leader whose diverse and adventurous career reflects his guiding philosophy: say yes to more things in life. From becoming a pilot at 17 to delivering the world’s first TEDx talk on the business of Primary Healthcare (PHC), York has consistently pushed boundaries and inspired others to embrace opportunity.
York has co-founded and launched one of Italy's most ambitious sustainability projects and built a company that became a strategic R&D partner for NASA in Africa. He has taught entrepreneurship and innovation around the world, held workshops for audiences of up to 14,000 people, and even managed to keep people awake during 8-hour sessions on intellectual property.
His eclectic career includes stints as an American limousine driver, a student waiter company founder, and a university newspaper publisher. He has lectured on history aboard ships, created masterclasses on active democracy for aspiring mayors, and became part of a 400-year-old society in Sweden. Along the way, he’s authored books, filmed courses, and even earned Rotary awards — though his attempts at singing were met with payment to stop.
York is also the creator of one of the world’s largest projects helping hundreds of cities worldwide support local businesses. He has tasted academic life at Regent’s, Harvard, Oxford, and many other institutions, proving that success comes from embracing failure, learning from it, and moving forward.
