Cape Town Comedy Club is taking its hilarious hijinks to Triggerfish Brewing in Somerset West! Join us for a series of comedy pop-up nights featuring top-class comedians and side-splitting humor. Great beer, delicious food, and laughter - what's not to love?! Mark your calendars for a regular, last Thursday of every month unbridled fun and comedy gold!

First up, we welcome the awesome Rob Van Vuuren to our stage for a lekker evening of laughs, great beer, excellent food and the best vibe. Rob is also Twakkie from the cult comedy sensation The Most Amazing Show whose countless live shows and two enormously successful television seasons he co-wrote, produced and directed alongside Louw Venter. He is the guy who shucksed Shuster in Shucks Tshabalala, the record breaking winner of Strictly Come Dancing, the voice of Takeshi’s Castle Thailand on Comedy Central Africa, Van from Van Der Merwe and the star of a host of other film and television shows. 

He has bagged no less than four Standard Bank Ovation Awards for comedy and the Breakthrough Act Award winner at the Comics Choice Awards. He has filmed two Comedy Central Africa specials. He was a finalist in the You Spectacular Awards in the Category SA’s favorite comedian and his career has taken him to stages all over the country as well as Perth, London, Brighton, Amsterdam, Dubai, Sharjah and Edinburgh.
