Celebrate the wonder of motherhood with an unforgettable evening under the stars! This special full moon edition is designed to honour all the amazing moms out there with a peaceful 6km night walk through the Umdloti forest and along the beach, ending in a relaxed beach picnic beneath the glowing moon.

Let the beauty of nature, the rhythm of the waves, and the glow of lanterns set the tone for a truly magical Mother’s Day experience.

Event Details:

Time: 6:15pm for 6:30pm start

Meeting Point: Umdloti South Beach Main Carpark (opposite the garage)

Distance: Approx. 6km | Duration: 2–3 hours

Cost: R199pp | R99 for kids under 13

What to Bring:

-Comfy shoes with grip (or go barefoot on the beach!)

-Water, snacks or cold drinks

-A torch and a small backpack

-Optional picnic goodies for after the walk

Beach blankets provided (first-come, first-served). Lanterns will be lit if weather allows.

Note: Dogs are not allowed in the forest section but welcome to join on the beach only.

Important Notes:

-This event will continue even if it’s overcast.

-It will be postponed in case of rain or winds above 30km/h.

-Minimum 10 participants required. If not met, event will be cancelled and refunds will be processed.
