ABOUT
The Friends of Silvermine Nature Area warmly invite you to join us for our Annual Fundraiser.
Immerse yourself in this beautiful environment and choose one of three routes along scenic aspects of the Silvermine River.
Enjoy the great scenery, great company and contribute to a great cause. Proceeds go to wages for two part-time river wardens and other costs to maintain the Lower Silvermine Wetland Area for its continued ecological, educational and recreational use and enjoyment by all.
Suggested Donation to participate: R100 per walker. You are most welcome to donate more!
Date: Saturday 10th May 2025
Time: 8am for 8.30am start
Choose your distance:
Route 1 - 12.5km One-way route. Silvermine Nature Reserve car park below dam.
Route 2 - 8.5km One-way route. Gather at Silvermine Nature Reserve Gate 2 Car Park.
Route 3 - 5.5km Circular route. Gather at Clovelly Beach gravel car park opposite the Disaster Management Building near the electrical sub-station.
