Kloofendal Nature Reserve
ABOUT
Join Jonathan Leeming on a 2 hour (3km walk) morning walk at Kloofendal Nature Reserve in search of all sorts of creepy crawlies such as spiders, insects, scorpions and snakes. This popular event teaches conservation, understanding and respect for all creatures. All animals are released back into where they came from. Suitable for the whole family.
Please note that this is a family event with the focus being on understanding creepy crawlies, our values and beliefs towards them and the value that they add. If you are more interested in spider bite and scorpions ting first aid, then please book for the Spider Bite & Scorpion Sting First Aid Workshop.
Please wear sensible shoes (no high-heels or flip-flops) and bring a small water bottle. Participants must be reasonably mobile and able. This walk is suitable for children. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
This event begins from the Ecological Centre in Kloofendal Nature Reserve. Please aim to be at the reserve 15 minutes before the event start time. This event will go ahead regardless of the weather.
