ABOUT
Independently publishing a book in South Africa is an interesting phenomenon.Since 2014 as BulaBuka.co.za, we’ve partnered with and assisted hundreds of authors to self-publish their books: celebrities, first time authors, prominent writers, pastors, historians and many others.
It brings us pleasure to bring #SelfPublishMe on the 23rd of September 2017. It is a workshop + dialogue among self-published authors – the aspiring are very much welcome – on how to better self-publish and market their books.
Thanks to Standard Bank Incubator for powering us up and thus it takes place at the Standard Bank Incubator in Rosebank. It is a free event. RSVP now.
BulaBuka.co.za is a boutique publishing consultancy that assists independent authors produce (editing and proof reading), publish (layout design, ebook conversion and distribution to premium online stores such as Amazon, iBookstore, Kobo, Lulu) and market their works.
#SelfPublishMe will be facilitated by Bula Buka co-founder and four-time self-published author – Tiisetso Maloma.
Expect to have a dialogue with authors who are already doing it on their own.
N.B. Unfortunately this event isn’t for those looking for publishers to publish them. It is for those who want to do it on their own – and those doing it on their own – and seeking further insights on how to do it better.
Facilitator – Tiisetso Maloma
Tiisetso Maloma founded www.bulabuka.co.za with fellow author, Bonolo Rakumakoe in 2014. He has self-published published four books: The Anxious Entrepreneur, Forget the Business Plan Use this Short Model, Township Biz Fastrack and Tales of an African Entrepreneur.
He is an entrepreneur, info-creative writer/conspirator and creator of Business Me Young and EBC Business Model. He contributes in mediums such Huffington Post and Biz Community.
