After an amazing 2 NIGHTS SOLD OUT Show in Glenwood Preo Room (if you couldnt get tickets to that one heres your chance!) and rave reviews from the perfromances at Tinas Hotel in Kloof The DUrban Point Yacht Club hosts Egyptian Ellas.
Ella was a dancing girl living the high life in the speakeasies and Sporting Houses of New Orleans, but when life gets too good she begins to put on weight losing her regular appeal. Join us as we follow her musically in a journey of self discovery which takes her across the ocean to the banks of the River Nile and then on to the place where she rightly belongs. Expect a great story, some well crafted musical arrangements presented by an 8 piece band comprising some of Durban finest musicians and a rollling gooid time!
Neil Gonsalves on Piano, Demi Fernandez on Guitar, Tom Hare on Sax, Brayden Hore on Bass, Nosihe Zulu on voc, Zoe Masuku on voc, Riley Giandhari on Drums and Daniel Sheldon on Trumpet with one of Durban most Darling Songstresses Chloe Clark as our bubbly Maitre D and Narrator.
It will be an extravaganza of ups and downs and a total barrel of Fun and laughter.
,
Expect some great songs from the old New Orleans traditions like 'At the Jazz Band Ball' and 'Way down yonder in New Orleans' with a few surprises like 'Deliah Gone' and 'In a Persian Market'.
*As seen on both TV and Radio*
"I Laughed until I stopped"
"As far as meaningless experiences go, its pretty damn good!"
"I could see my house from up there"
