WEDNESDAY 14 NOVEMBER 2018 – CAPE TOWN INNOVATION TOUR
Cape Town has been recognized globally as an emerging global entrepreneurial hub, due to it’s vibrant startup community and innovative spirit. The greater Cape Town area is home to many accelerator programs, co-working spaces and global tech businesses, serving markets across the continent and globe.
This tour aims to give you a great introduction to the ecosystem, access to the entrepreneurs and leaders building the sector, and you’ll spend the day being hosted by industry experts who are embedded in the community.

8:30 am Meet at the Solution Space at the UCT Graduate School of Business for morning coffee
8:45 am Welcome to the Solution Space & Venture Incubation Program (www.gsbsolutionspace.uct.co.za)
9:15 am Founder's Panel: Scaling Start-ups in Africa (Yoco, Nomanini & SweepSouth)
10:15 am Visit WeThinkCode Cape Town Campus
11:00 am Depart for Stellenbosch
11:30 pm Arrive at LaunchLab (https://launchlab.co.za/) in Stellenbosch, one of the leading university based start-up support hubs to have lunch with some of their entrepreneurs.
1:30 pm Depart Stellenbosch for Saltriver.
2:15 pm Tour and growth story of AeroBotics (https://www.aerobotics.io/) on of the XL Africa Finalists from last year who are revolutionizing the agricultural industry.
3:30 pm Depart for Woodstock Exchange
4:00 pm Merck Healthtech Challenge & Pitches hosted at MEST
5:30 pm Ecosystem Networking & Drinks
6:15 pm Depart for Workshop 17
