ABOUT

Please join us for the second edition of THINK.Thursday. THINK.Thursday is a meeting on the 3rd Thursday of the month of like-minded activators, to have energised conversations around positive change. Hosted by a young thought leader in topics relating to environmental, social, economic or behavioural change – it is a chance to meet individuals to exchange and challenge ideas, and collaborate.

THINK.Thursday: April edition

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
– George Bernard Shaw, Man and Superman (1903) "Maxims for Revolutionists"

In South Africa, and across the African continent, entrepreneurship is increasingly booming. The “unreasonable” entrepreneurs leading this movement view their businesses as catalysts for social change, with the creation of impact forming the very foundation of their activities.

APRIL'S THOUGHT: What is the role of business in the creation of social change?

APRIL' THOUGHT LEADERS: Tsakane Ngoepe and Stephanie Craig from the UCT Graduate School of Business' Bertha Centre for Social innovation and Entrepreneurship. (please refer to Facebook event page for more info.)

APRIL'S DETAILS: Where? 75 Harrington. When? 21 April, 6.30pm - event will start at 7pm sharp. How much? Tickets are R10.* Limited to 100.
