Our upcoming Mission-Aligned Investing Seminar, which is free to attend, will bring together global and local mission-driven leaders to focus on how South Africa can finance a just, fossil fuel-free future in which everyone has access to renewable energy.

The seminar will be held in conjunction with the “Financing the Future” Global Divest-Invest Summit, which is taking place from 10-11 September.
*Bill McKibben is an author and environmentalist who in 2014 was awarded the Right Livelihood Prize, sometimes called the ‘alternative Nobel.’ His 1989 book The End of Nature is regarded as the first book for a general audience about climate change, and has appeared in 24 languages; he’s gone on to write a dozen more books. He is a founder of 350.org, the first planet-wide, grassroots climate change movement.
**The Wallace Global Fund launched Divest-Invest Philanthropy, a coalition of over 170 foundations committed to deploying their investments to address the climate crisis and accelerate the clean energy transition. Dorsey is globally recognised for creative philanthropic strategies and mission-related investing, and was awarded the 2016 inaugural Nelson Mandela-Graça Machel Brave Philanthropy Award for launching Divest-Invest. The Wallace Global Fund has been fully divested from all fossil fuel companies since 2014.
