Join us for the 21st Magersfontein Trail Run

25KM and 10KM races

Time: 6AM Race Start

Venue: Magersfontein Main Gate

Entry Fees: 25KM R 160 | 10KM R 90 | Temporary Licence R 40

PRE-ENTRIES:  

Friday 06 December 2019: 17:00 – 19:00  (Club Griquas, Tafel Lager Park)

Race day 07 December 2019: 05:00 – 05:45 (Magersfontein)

RACE INFORMATION:

•Results will be made available at the race.

•Food & drinks will be on sale at the finish line.

•Braai facilities available.

•Water points every 3km.

•Popular water point at Crown & Royal Hotel, Modder River.

•Race will be started by bag pipes & drums.

RACE RULES:

Races run under rules of AGW, ASA & IAAF – NO earphones allowed

25KM Event

•Temporary license to be worn visible on FRONT.

•Medals to all finishers.

•Trophies for all category winners & 1st Walker (Men & Women).

•Age & walker tags compulsory - visible on front & back.

•Cut-off time 3 hours & 30 minutes.

•Age restriction 19.

•Water points every 3km with popular water hole at Crown & Royal Hotel, Modder River.

•Prize giving & Lucky draws @ 10:30

10KM Event

•Temporary license to be worn visible on FRONT.

•Medals to all finishers.

•Trophies for 1st  Man & Woman

•Age & walker tags compulsory - visible on front & back.

•Age restriction 14.

•Cut-off time 2 hours.

•Prize giving & Lucky draws @ 09:00

DIRECTIONS TO MAGERSFONTEIN FROM KIMBERLEY

N12 to Modder River (Cape Town Road). From the robot Caltex Garage on the N12 Kimberley, drive 32 km.  You will see silos to your left  – slow down turn left onto the Jacobsdal Road (before Modder River).  Turn left immediately after the train bridge, drive past GWK/Landmark. Drive on about 900m’ turn left onto a gravel road to Magersfontein - travel about 8km.
