ABOUT

Modderfontein Reserve seeks not only to protect indigenous fauna and flora in the area, but also to provide an attractive open space within the urban fabric where visitors can come and enjoy its natural beauty without traveling too far from home.

The vision for the Reserve is to create, within an urban setting, a natural open space which is socially, economically and ecologically sustainable.

The 275-hectare private park is the second-largest private park in Gauteng and includes portions of the Modderfontein Spruit, a number of dams, grassland and hills.

Trail : Approx. 7km's (Flat and suitable for the whole family)

Gates Open & Register from 6am / Brief 6.45 am / Hike start 7.15am.

Cost: Tickets via QUICKET - Sales open Monday, 6th Jan 2020

Adults (18 years and older) per person R85,00

School children (7 to 17 years) per child R55,00

By buying a ticket you accept you indemnify Start Hiking Today and the EVENT LEADERS against any claim which you or your family or our VENUE OWNERS may have in respect of any loss,damage or personal injury, death, medical or hospital expenses, or any other liability of any nature whatsoever which may be caused by or arise out of the activities of the Club, irrespective of whether such accident,damage, expenses or other losses or injury is caused by negligence or any act or omission on the part of members of the Club. You further agree to abide by the Constitution as well as the Rules and Regulations of the Start Hiking Today.
