Valentines Hike and Lunch in the Magaliesberg @Milorho Lodge

Milorho Lodge is hosting a Valentine's Hike and Lunch on Saturday 15 February 2020.

Enjoy the magnificent views while hiking the Magaliesburg mountains at Milorho lodge. The hikes are unique in that they pass through a gorge, rock pools and waterfalls. There are iron age buildings on the farm as well as an abundance of flora and fauna. The rock formations are out of this world.

There is no better way to truly experience the geology, history, flora and fauna of the Magaliesberg than hiking through the mountains itself.

The trail offers a wide range of terrain and ecosystems. The goal of the trail is to offer visitors opportunities for hiking, recreation and education while enjoying the scenery and wildlife of our area.

The trail is the only Green Flag Accredited trail in the North West and was developed by Gerhardt van Greuning,  Senior auditor: Greenflag; Boardmember: Hiking SA and Ecotrail product developer in July 2018.

Distance:

• 5km for the semi-fit
• 12.7 kms for the fit

Time:

Arrival: 07:00 - 07:30

Depart: Anytime after lunch

R250 per hiker
