QUALIFYING MARATHON FOR COMRADES & TWO OCEANS

START OF RACE: 

06:00 - 42,2km, 21,1km & 10km

06:15 - 5km Charity Fun Run / dress carnival style – prize for the best dressed

Fun Run entries can be done on race day from 04:45 - 05:45 (proceeds to charity)

DISTANCES: 42,2km, 21,1km, 10km & 5km Charity Fun Run

ENTRY FEES: 

42,2km = R200

21,1km = R150

10km = R100

5km Fun Run = R50

TEMPORARY LICENSE @ R40 except for the Fun Run

Temporary license allowed for 42,2km, but do not qualify for Comrades or Two Oceans

PRIZE MONEY: 

42,2km = 1^st R2500 M/F

21,1km = 1^st R1000 M/F

1^st Walker M/F (21,1km & 10km)

1^st Junior M/F (21,1km)

Prize money to Open & all Category Winners (42,2km & 21,1km 1 – 3 M/F)

1^st places only for category winners M/F

PRIZE MONEY: 10km 1 - 3 M/F, 1^st Walker M/F & 1^st Junior M/F

CUT-OFF TIMES:

Cut-off time = 42,2km = 5h30

Cut-off time = 21,1km = 3h

Cut-off time =   10km = 2h

RACE PACK COLLECTIONS: 5 – 6 March 2020 from 16:30 - 19:00 at St Patrick’s CBC, Sport Field, Henderson Rd, Kimberley and on Race Day from 04:45-05:45

ONLY FUN RUN ENTRIES on race day as from 04:45 – 05:45 at St Patrick’s CBC Sport Field

GENERAL INFORMATION:

* Race package includes your race number - it must be collected before the race.

 The race number must be pinned in front without covering the 2020 ASA license

  logo

* Category stickers compulsory to receive prize money – one in front & one on the

  back & visible

* Indemnity form to be completed by all participants – runners participate at their own

 risk

* Medals to all finishers in all races

* Gold Medals for the first 50 finishers in the 42,2km

* Lucky draws for all events will take place at 11:30

* Minimum ages: 5km (9 years) 10km (14 years) 21,1km (16 years) 42,2km (20

 years)

* Water points every 3km on the route

* Shield awarded for the best water station

PRIZE GIVING:

5km & 10km @ 9 am (prizes for the best dressed 5km Charity Fun Run)

21,1km & 42,2km @ 11:30 am
