Help Fund Plastic Upcycling Initiative

This project is in support of Our Workshop, a Langa-based initiative where solutions to plastic waste through repurposing and upcycling are created.

Plastic waste has become symbolic of our careless relationship with our possessions, each other and the environment. To change this, we clean beaches, grow communities of conscious consumers and help drive the circular economy through collaborative design and experiments. We encourage everyone to reduce, repair, reuse and recycle everything plastic. 

Our Workshop urgently needs space to store, sort and clean beach plastic litter as materials for new creations. These creations reduce waste to landfill and generate employment for young artists in Langa, Cape Town. 

Help make a difference in the fight against plastic pollution. Funds raised will drive more plastic upcycling projects to create beautiful and functional objects in partnership with Our Workshop.
