Here you will be able to obtain your entrance by donating as little as *R50.00 to an incredibly good cause: The Saartjie Baartman Centre for Women and Children (SBCWC).

I have a vested interest in taking a stand against sexual & gender-based violence in South Africa and wanted to run a competition that was based on making a difference instead of just giving away prizes.

Since the beginning of lockdown, I have partnered with @SprintForHerSA and their online community of solidarity to raise funds, awareness and show support for victims and survivors through exercise – which is why this cause means so much to me and is the motivation behind this competition.

Your donation will not only give you the opportunity to win these incredible prizes (****value of ~21 thousand Rand), but most importantly it will also support the much-needed services offered by SBCWC.

Saartjie Baartman Centre for Women and Children is a one-stop centre for women and children who are survivors of abuse. Their vision is the creation of a safe and secure society and a human rights culture where women and children are empowered to exercise their full rights. SBCWC offer:

• A 24-hour emergency shelter (safe accommodation)
• Short and medium-term residential care
• Childcare services
• Counselling, mental health support, legal and economic empowerment services
•  Children's counselling
• Research in gender-based violence
• Job Skills training
• Legal advice

Please be assured: this is a fundraiser. The full amount raised will be sent directly to the SBCWC from the Quicket Team (less Quicket’s commission and payment processing fees) within THREE working days of the event ending.

Neither I, nor any of the Sponsors, will have any contact with these funds. An official signed letter by SBCWC Director, Bernadine Bachar, which endorses this fundraiser on their behalf is available upon request.
