Tygerberg Hospice - Palliative Care for ALL

Tygerberg Hospice provides holistic palliative care to patients facing a life-limiting illness. Apart from making sure that the patient is cared for in all areas – physical, spiritual, emotional and social – we also provide support for the families involved. Through the Fundraising initiative we aim to continue providing comprehensive Palliative Care service to all those who are not able to afford care. Your contribution will allow for more than 5500 Patients and their families to have access to Palliative Care services in the comfort of their home.

What happens with your donation?

At Tygerberg Hospice we use every cent of your donation towards improving the quality of life to our most vulnerable communities

(Fisantekraal, Klipheuwel, Bellville South, Ravensmead and Uitsig)

Our mandate is to provide all those intrusted to us with Dignity and Quality of Life

We do this by mobilising 92 Community Health Workers and 12 Professional Nursing Staff across our Community Based and Palliative Care programs.

In the 2nd Quarter (July - September) we were able to reach 5500 patients in Tygerberg Sub-Structure, we have delivered 22400 Chronic Medication Parcels to the homes of our patients and conducted over 600 household visits.
