Jive For Madiba

The Rainbow Academy will be hosting a Jive -for -Madiba (Dance-A-Thon) fundraiser on the 18th of July, 2023 and we are inviting you to spend your 67 minutes jiving (dancing) with us in order to raise 67 k ZAR for our new library and academic resources for x30 students enrolled into our scholarship programme in performing arts and business. For this special day we are inviting you to celebrate Nelson Mandela with us virtually or in person. Come dressed in your best Afro-chic/Afro-pop attire and have some fun! Games, prizes, contests, food, and refreshments will all be present; however, most importantly the dancing spirit will be flowing throughout the duration of the event. We have an array of supporters across the globe, and for this reason Jive For Madiba will be broken up into two segments. One to adhere to the eastern hemisphere, and the other for our supporters on the Western Hemisphere. 

67 Participants, 1000 ZAR each, 67k Total!!

Whether it is an individual or a team effort our participants are everything. Our goal for the donors is having fun and getting groovy. Leaderboards will determine the quality of prizes, and ultimately the success of our campaign for better educational equipment. So, put on your dancing shoes and come dressed in Afro-Chic attire for an opportunity to win best dressed on the day! Grab a friend or two, and build a team to compete for amazing prizes and most of all show off your dance moves.

Being a non profit, we rely heavily on the support from our community in order to fund our academic needs. All donations are greatly appreciated!!
