Lawyers against Abuse (LvA)

Lawyers against Abuse is a non-profit organisation that works to ensure that victims of gender-based violence (GBV) have meaningful access to justice by providing legal services and psychosocial support, empowering communities and engaging state actors. We operate three centres in Diepsloot, Orange Farm and Hillbrow where our team has assisted over 2,500 GBV victims and affected family members to date.
