"The Spider and Scorpion course was very practical, involving an exploration of interesting sites @ Kloofendal Nature Reserve and finding and identifying scorpions and spiders in their natural environment. Jonathan Leeming also shared his extensive knowledge not only about the animals, but also about first response in the rare event of a bite or sting. Are you scared of spiders? Do yourself a favour and spend a morning learning more about these amazing creatures and their role in the world. And please stop killing them and throw away you can of Doom!"

"This was a unique experience for me.
I am grateful for the opportunity to become acquainted with scorpions and spiders, through Jonathan's considerate guidance, kind patience and professional expertise.
And, it is the first time that I have ever seen freshwater terrapins in real life! How magical!
From Jonathan, I received a balanced perspective and understanding of how magnificent these creatures are.
He showed me how their innate technology (as designed by nature) affords them their "super-powers" - which we, as humans, can learn and yield great benefit from.
It was a wonderful reminder that - if we look after nature - then nature looks after us.
