Millennium

Modern rock has born a powerhouse applauded as Millennium.

Comprising three brothers Baard – Hendré, Christiaan and Morné collectively built a band

during the height of 2020s global pandemic and are ready to rock us all back

from the deafening silence left in its wake. Ruan van Niekerk and Leo Zondagh joined the band in 2024 adding guitar and drum sounds.

Afrikaans rock has been in desperate need of a new voice and Millennium is it, here to fill

the void, armed with real-life lived lyrics and a convincing swagger not dissimilar to the very

best of AC/DC, Bon Jovi and Kings of Leon, all neatly rolled into one arresting debut single ‘Ewigheid’

that’s rapidly attracting a growing audience, leaving them anything but alone.
