Born from a vision to create a sanctuary for artists post-lockdown, THAT Tuesday Funk has grown into Johannesburg’s biggest and most dynamic jam session. Rooted in an artist-centric ethos, this event celebrates the creative community with boundary-breaking improv jams and DJs redefining the sound of 'FUNK and how not to be awkward on a Tuesday.

On Tuesday, 31 December 2024 we are provided with a once in a decade situation of Tuesday being New Years Eve, join us at The Melville Mansions for a night of unforgettable performances by renowned musicians and DJs. We are celebrating the magnetic energy of an open jam session to captivating DJ sets, every moment will be a celebration of music, artistry, and community. We will be doing it off the strip where this was jam session was born off 7th Avenue.

Its giving backyard party with BYOB vibes.
