Established in mid-2006, It Came From The Jungle has since grown to become one of South Africa's leading Drum & Bass outlets and an integral part of the scene built around the music.
In the years after the legendary Piano Lounge night closed down, Cape Town's had a lack of quality Drum & Bass being played out on a weekly basis. Enter Fiction DJ Bar, a venue with the perfect location, atmosphere, sound and attitude towards music opened it's doors and offered Cape Town's Drum & Bass scene a new weekly home. It Came From The Jungle was born.
The rest, they say, is history.
Our roster features the creme de la crop in South African talent, from the legends of years gone by, to the current headliners, all the way to the future stars of our scene. It Came From The Jungle features regular sets from scene stalwarts in the likes of Niskerone, Hyphen, Phaze, RudeOne and many other talented South African artists.
