Dear 2026 Grade 1 Parents,

We are delighted to invite you to the Grade 1 Orientation Evening at Welgemoed Primary School! This special event will be held on 7 November at 17:30 and it’s a wonderful opportunity for you and your child to get acquainted with our school community. During the evening, you’ll meet your child's teacher, attend a short parent talk in the hall and meet your fellow Grade 1 parents. We look forward to sharing important information and answering any questions you might have to ensure a smooth and successful start to your child’s journey in Grade 1. We can’t wait to welcome you and your little ones to the Blessie family!

• No siblings can be accommodated in the classrooms
• Learners can come dressed in civvies
• Your child must be in the classroom at 18:00
• Please collect your child at 19:00 from their classroom
• There will be supplier stalls on display for more info regarding school clothing and stationery

Beste 2025 Graad 1-ouers,

Ons is opgewonde om julle na die Graad 1 Oriënteringsaand by Laerskool Welgemoed uit te nooi op 26 November om 17:30. Hierdie spesiale gebeurtenis is ‘n wonderlike geleentheid vir julle en julle kind om met ons lewendige skoolgemeenskap kennis te maak. Julle sal die kans kry om julle kind se onderwyser te ontmoet, ‘n informele ouerpraatjie in die saal by te woon en ander Graad 1 ouers te ontmoet.

Ons sien daarna uit om julle belangrike inligting te verskaf en enige vrae wat julle mag hê te beantwoord, om te verseker dat julle kind se Graad 1-ervaring glad en vreugdevol begin. Ons kan nie wag om julle en julle kleintjies in die Blessie-familie te verwelkom nie!

• Geen broers of susters kan in die klaskamers akkommodeer word nie.
• Leerders kan in gemaklike klere kom.
• Jou kind moet om 18:00 in die klaskamer wees.
• Ouers moet asseblief hul kind om 19:00 by die klaskamer op te tel
• Daar sal verskafferstalletjies wees wat meer inligting verskaf oor skoolklere en skryfbehoeftes.
