About
The Limpopo Arts Festival celebrates the rich artistic heritage of Limpopo, a province known for its deep
cultural roots and historical landmarks. The festival is inspired by the area's legacy of art, music, and
dance, which have played a vital role in African culture since ancient times. Held in Tubatse (Burgersfort),
the heart of the Bapedi people, the festival is set in a region that has grown commercially while
preserving its traditions. This initiative builds on the success of the "Meet Tubatse" showcase, which has
highlighted local talent for six years. Partnering with Rata Rata Art Hub and Post-Post Entertainment,
the Limpopo Arts Festival aims to connect local and national artists, promote cultural unity, and boost
regional tourism and economic growth.
About the Festival

diverse forms of expression, from traditional to contemporary art. Aimed at fostering cultural unity and

Set to take place at Noka Campsite in Greater Tubatse from December 31, 2024, to January 1, 2025, the
festival offers activities for all ages, including performances, exhibitions, and workshops. The event is
designed to create a memorable experience that celebrates Limpopo’s unique artistic spirit while inspiring
future generations to embrace and preserve the arts.
