About Us

At Sol Tribe Creations, we are passionate about preserving heritage crafts and passing down traditional skills through immersive, hands-on workshops. Our focus is on barefoot leather shoe-making, where participants learn to create custom-fitted shoes from start to finish using time-honored techniques. In addition, we offer workshops in leather backpack making, sheepskin slippers, leather boots, candle making, basket weaving, felting, and a wide range of creative crafts for kids.

Our workshops are designed to reconnect you with the joy of crafting while promoting the neurological benefits of working with your hands. Studies show that crafting not only enhances creativity, but also improves focus, reduces stress, and boosts cognitive function by stimulating both sides of the brain. Each of our workshops provides a unique opportunity to slow down, engage in mindful creation, and walk away with a practical, handmade item.

Whether you’re learning to craft a pair of barefoot shoes that support natural foot health or weaving a basket, our workshops offer a deep sense of accomplishment and a connection to ancestral skills. Join us to experience the therapeutic benefits of crafting and to take part in preserving these important traditions.

"What an interesting, informative and an enjoyable workshop learning how to make a barefoot shoe? Thanks Summer for breaking some of my shoemaking myths/fears and enabling me to build a perfect fitting pair of shoes in a mere 4-hours. "
