Cultural Care Au Pair

About

The au pair program gives the opportunity to young people between the ages of 18-26 to travel the USA on a?J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa?for 12-24 months. Au pairs live with a host family, take classes at a local college, and assist in childcare duties in the home—in return, they’re given opportunities to immerse themselves in a new country and culture, making memories they’ll cherish forever.

Founded in 1986, the au pair programme in the USA started out as a diplomacy program. Since then, it has grown into something much more. It’s a way to spread cross-cultural understanding and tolerance. It’s a chance to build bonds with people from all walks of life. It’s an opportunity to become global citizens, role models, and ambassadors for countries near and far.
