2024 marks the 20th edition of the annual South African HORRORFEST film festival & Halloween event!

An amazingly diverse Horror movie line-up will run at The Labia Theatre across 30 October - 10 November with 15 movies and 32 short films from around the world. (no streaming chapters this year)

The line-up will include:

Also expect the Bloody Parchment dark literature chapter (this year back in person at Exclusive Books, Cavendish on Halloween night), Halloween dress-up, Rocky Horror Picture Show audience participation screening, Makabra Ensemble live silent film soundtrack performance, a classic film projected on 16mm film and more.
