"We celebrated a Birthday, and it was truly a magical day out! Rain and all - we had so much fun! Thank you Liza-Marié and your fantastic team! Also Gerrit and Ingrid, from The House Of GM&Ahrens, our new and fabulous bubbly friends - breakfast and bubbles was so delightful with you both!! Desmond, the food was delicious! Later, The Art Queen, Helena Gerber inspired the artists within us at the bubbles and brushes class and I can honestly say, I learnt something new and we made a whole group of great new girlfriends too! I am so proud of my card brushed, gold touched Koi-fish creation! The talks in the main tent were interesting and we loved the little kiddies stalls and Heno's facepainting! The bubble machine and festival backdrop, kids play area and foodstalls were also lovely! Oooh and ZAZA Snails!!!!! DELISIMO!!! One of our favorite 'hang out corners' was with Jennifer and Anton from Kay and Monty - what fun that was!!! Loads of bubbles was had throughout the day from various great houses present. It was my first time at Portland Manor and it did not disappoint - what an exquisite property - we will be back, next time we will sleep over!! Thank you to all involved!
