Out The Woods Inclusive Arts Festival

Storywood Inclusive Arts NPC will be hosting an Inclusive Arts Festival (OUT THE WOODS INCLUSIVE ARTS FESTIVAL) for audiences with complex needs from 13-20 March, 2024 at The Drama Factory and The Playhouse Theatre, Somerset West. The festival will take place over 7 days and will include a number of theatre productions and arts workshops for audiences with complex needs such as neurological, sensory, cognitive, hearing , visual, and movement challenges (and their carers). The aim of the festival is to create a safe space for such audiences no matter their specific need and to enable them to partake in arts experiences from which they are often excluded. Additionally, the festival aims to provide a platform for information- and skillsharing amongst parents, carers and other theatre practitioners.
